Armavia repays USD 178 thous. debt to RosaviatsiaMarch 20, 2012 - 15:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armavia Air Company repaid the debt at the amount of USD 178 thous. for provision of air navigation services in Russia’s airspace, head of Federal Air Transport Agency(Rosaviatsia) said. “On Friday, March 16, the air company fully repaid arrears for December, which enables it to further operate flights in Russian territory,” Alexander Neradko said, adding that current debt of the company totals USD 354 thous. On March 6 the company suspended operation due to delayed payment for providing air navigation services in Russia’s airspace. Rosaviatsia noted that the agency received a letter of guaranteed dated March 6 from Armavia, with the latter pledging to repay part of the debt for last December at the amount of USD 178 thous. by March 20, 2012, AviaPort reported.
