GEORGIAN PRESIDENT ARRIVING IN YEREVAN TODAYMarch 12, 2004 - 17:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On the invitation of Armenian President Robert Kocharian Georgian leader Mikhail Saakashvili is arriving in Yerevan on a two-day visit today. The delegation includes ministers, deputies and Georgian President's representative in Samtskhe-Javakhetia. March 13 Robert Kocharian and Mikhail Saakashvili will have a private conversation, which will be followed by Armenian-Georgian talks of enlarged composition. The Georgian President will meet with Chairman of the Parliament and the Prime Minister of Armenia, as well as representatives of the local Georgian community. M. Saakashvili will also visit the memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey, lay a wreath to the monument and acquaint himself with the exhibits of the Genocide Museum.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
