It is harder for sure, but also more rewarding because of the challenge. I'm a new player and didn't have much problem to establish myself on bannerlord difficulty. As others wrote, tournaments and general fighting gets a bit more challenging, horse archery is a bit more difficult but for example I can still absolutely shred with my glaive or axe.

If you just go into a battle and press all troops then f6 it makes you give a bunch of AI commands that level your tactics quickly.
