Then take off the oil press sender wire, elec cable to the starter, and the 2 starter bolts (all the bolts and the spare starter can be seen in my "tools" pic below just beyond my fingertips). 15 min job for me. There has been a number of guys on here that have said there isn't a noticeable difference between Gen 4 & Gen 5 in the trail models. I think the Gen 5 in the Summit and Freeride is where there has been significant improvements. I have seen a lot of good reviews of the Gen 5 in the Deep Snow.

It currently jumps to 7500rpm and creeps to 7600 after WOT for 20-30 seconds with the 1.6 ice cobra track on it.
