AN ARMENIAN CYPRIOT RUNS FOR EURO PARLIAMENT ELECTIONS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Arto Malian, an Armenian Cypriot from Larnaca is a candidate for the European Parliament elections that will take place on June 13, 2004. As reported by the press service of the Armenian community of Cyprus, six other independent candidates amongst whom Mehmet Hassan - a Turkish Cypriot, as well as all the political parties in Cyprus, which have begun a month long election campaign, will be contesting the six Cyprus seats.
