INTERNATIONAL MISSION TO ARRIVE IN BAKU JANUARY 28

PanARMENIAN.Net - The international mission for investigating facts of inhabiting the territories, which bordering with Nagorno Karabakh form the safety belt, will arrive in Baku January 28, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov reported. Besides the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, representatives of Finland, Germany, Sweden and Italy will serve on the commission. They are expected to visit Karvachar (Kelbajar), Lachin, Kubatly and Zangelan. The mission is to establish facts and present them to the international community without making any political assessments. To remind, the above-mentioned territories are inhabited by the Armenian refugees, who were deported by Azeris and soviet army from some regions of Karabakh. A lot of monuments of the Armenian culture can be found in he territories of the safety belt, which for the recent 2 centuries were mostly inhabited by the Kurdish minority, whose autonomy was abolished in the thirties.
