EXPLOSION IN CENTER OF YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - An explosion took place in the center of Yerevan at 10:00 a.m. local time, Regnum news agency reported. The Armenian Police reported that there was "an explosion of an unknown object" placed in the hollow of a tree next to the building of the State Customs Service at the Government of Armenia. The incident resulted in damaging the office car of the Customs Service Head Armen Avetisian - BMW 745. Avetisian himself was already in the building at the time. His driver was not hurt either. According to the source, the circumstances of the incident are being cleared up. The Office of Public Prosecutor of Yerevan holds the investigation of the case.
