Turkish FM to call on U.S. to stop Armenian Genocide resolution

PanARMENIAN.Net - During a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul is most likely to call the U.S. to refrain from the adoption of the Armenian Genocide resolution introduced to the Congress by the House of Representatives.



The Turkish FM will meet in Washington with Steve Hadley, the U.S. President's National Security Advisor. He is also expected to coordinate positions of the U.S. and Turkey on the war in Iraq and struggle against Kurdish rebels, reports RFE/RL.
