ARMENIAN IN GEORGIA UNABLE TO HAMPER BAKU-TBILISI-JEYHAN PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION, AZERI AMBASSADOR TO GEORGIA CONVINCED

PanARMENIAN.Net - Georgian citizens of Armenian origin cannot hamper the realization of the Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan oil pipeline project. As reported by "Mediamax' agency, Azeri ambassador to Georgia Gajan Gajiyev has stated that. Recollecting the recent case of signature collection against that project among the citizens of the Georgian regions where the oil pipeline is going to be constructed, the ambassador noted, that an Armenian -Russian citizen- is engaged in this action and "this is a basis to suppose that foreign forces are engaged in this issue". At that, the ambassador stated that "the Armenian factor should not be exaggerated - the Georgian authorities are powerful enough and will be able to prevent the unwanted development of the events".
