GEORGIA INTENDS TO JOIN NEW ELECTRIC MAIN, CONNECTING ARMENIAN AND IRANIAN ENERGY SYSTEMS

PanARMENIAN.Net - At present a new program providing for building of a new electric main connecting energy systems of Armenia and Iran is worked out. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, minister of energy and fuel of Georgia David Mirtskhulava stated. In his words, the new main will exceed the capacities of the current power line of 220kV . "The building of the main is also advantageous for Georgia, as technical opportunity to import electric power to Iran will appear in the future," - D. Mirtskhulava said.
