Armenia, Belarus satisfied with bilateral cooperation

Armenia Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and his Belarusian counterpart Sergey Martynov held a joint press conference in Yerevan on April 16.

Armenian Minister told journalists that the relations between the two countries see proper development.

Prior to the press conference, the two ministers discussed bilateral ties, prospects of expanding areas for collaboration, as well as regional and international issues.

“Economic cooperation is developing rapidly, both at top and regional levels; Armenian provinces have cooperation agreements with Belarusian regions,” Minister Nalbandian said

According to him, about 70 agreements are signed between the countries in the legal field, and this number may increase in future.

The parties also discussed the resolution of Karabakh conflict, cooperation within UN, OSCE, CIS and CSTO.
