The Armenian Genocide recognition issue is an international problem, Director of RA NAS Institute of Oriental Studies said.

“Azerbaijan’s unprecedented activity testifies to this,” Ruben Safrastyan said at Yerevan-Moscow space bridge on “Time can’t erase the memory.”

The expert further forecast activation of the political aspect of Armenian Genocide problem in near future.

In this context, he stressed the need for Russia’s intensified policy on the issue, particularly adoption of a bill criminalizing Genocide denial.
