According to sources of Zhoghovurd paper, former Minister of Science and Education, member of ARF Dashnaktsutyun Levon Mkrtchyan organized a gathering several days ago in Valem restaurant owned by his brother.

During his meeting with rectors of some higher educational institutions which were deprived of licenses, Mkrtchyan offered a deal to those present.

He said their colleges will “regain their licenses”, thus getting back the authority they once had if rectors support Dashnaktsutyun at the upcoming elections, Zhoghovurd reports.

The paper tried to check this information from Arthur Khachatryan, coordinator of Dashnaktsutyun Bureau's PR office.

The latter refuted the news saying it does not correspond to reality.
