Chairman of the Union of Armenians of Adzharia Armen Gevorgian has sent his resignation. As reported by A-Info agency, May 28 he told it to his compatriots, who gathered in an Armenian church in Batumi. In Gevorgian's words, his retirement was expected, as after the change of authority in Adzharia the change of the leadership of the local Armenian community was also desirable.
