EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Heikki Talvitie will pay a 2-day visit to Nagorno Karabakh. As reported by Mediamax agency during the visit he is to meet with the political leadership of NKR. He is as well expected to meet with Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan, who reside in the towns of Shushi and Lachin at present. To note, it is the first visit of the Finnish diplomat to Nagorno Karabakh at the post of EU Special Representative. Being co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Conference in 1995-1996 he has many of times visited NKR.
