According to Haykakan Zhamank paper, an article about Armenia titled “Democracy Show at Best, Despotism at Worst,” was published on the official website of European Liberal Democrat and Reform Party (ELDR).

LI Political Advisor James Patava, having arrived in Armenia during the election period, noted the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) rally as a disgusting show, with the injury toll in Republic Square blast reaching 144, the paper claims.

Another party member, Thomas Leys rendered RPA victory as a democracy performance.

“Mass violations, voter intimidation, double voting and voter bribery cases were observed during the elections,” the daily quoted him as saying.
