According to preliminary data, Editor-in-Chief of Armyanski Pereulok (Armenian Lane) literary journal Payl Peloyan died from a cranial-cerebral trauma and a knife stab in his chest. According to the data of the Rossiyskaya Gazeta, in principle, workers of Armyanski Pereulok could not have foes ready to commit a murder. Peloyan might have fallen victim of robbers. However, President of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamian stated the murder of the journalist might have been related to his professional activities. Armyanski Pereulok is being issued in Moscow since 2000. It is printed in Russian, however it is first of all meant for the large Armenian diaspora of the Russian capital.
