Diaspora Ministry's “Come Home 2012” program launched

On June 11, Armenian Diaspora Ministry hosted the launch of the first stage of “Come Home 2012” program.

The event brought together Ministry employees, representatives from Yerevan administrative districts and 25 program participants from Russia, Georgia and the U.S.

Chief of the Ministry staff F.Zakaryan briefed those present on the first stage of the project, according to which the participants will visit historical and cultural sites, educational institutions, followed by a four-day rest in camp in Aghavnadzor.

“Come Home” program aims to raise awareness on Armenia, inculcate national values in Diaspora’s young representatives, and foster deepening of Motherland-Diaspora ties.
