BILL ON ARMENIAN-AMERICAN TRADE RELATIONS GARNERED WIDE-SPREAD SUPPORT IN US CONGRESS
Over 100 lawmakers support the bill on establishing permanent and stable Armenian-American trade relations. "Armenia is poised to play a role as a commercial hub in the Caucasus region as evidenced by its ongoing economic reform measures and strategic location and this legislation will help strengthen Armenia's trading capacity", - author of the project, congressman Joe Knollenberg sonsiders. The bill is currently awaiting action by the House of Representatives Subcommittee on Trade.
