QUESTION OF SENDING ARMENIAN MILITARY TO IRAQ IS EXCLUSIVELY WITHIN HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE
The question of sending medical officers and sappers to Iraq is exclusively within providing humanitarian assistance, Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian stated today. In his words, Armenia has stated from the first day that it does not intend to have military presence in Iraq, while it would like to participate in rehabilitation of the country. At the same time the Minister added that final decision thereupon is not made yet and it has to be approved by the National Assembly of Armenia.
