NATO'S GOAL IN SOUTH CAUCASUS - TO PROVIDE REGIONAL SECURITY
NATO wishes to expand cooperation with the South Caucasian states in a way, which could provide security in the region", senior Transatlantic fellow of the German Marshall Fund of the US Ronald Asmus told in his interview with Mediamax news agency. In his words, NATO's goal is to produce more regional security, not create new dividing lines. NATO will extend through the wider Black Sea region into Central Asia, the US expert said.
