Georgia does not recognize July 19 presidential elections in Nagorno Karabakh, a statement issued by the country’s foreign ministry said.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry further reaffirmed the Georgian government's "unequivocal support for Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity"

“The Georgian Foreign Ministry considers it necessary to strengthen the efforts of the international community in order to attempt to resolve the Nagorno Karabakh conflict peacefully through a constructive dialogue between parties,” the statement posted on the ministry’s website said.
