Today President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Arkady Ghukasian departed for the US to participate in the TV Marathon to be held on November 25. As reported by the press service of the NKR President, the measure is organized for the collection of funds for the further construction of the North-South highway, which is of strategic importance for Karabakh. The NKR leader is also expected to meet with the representatives of political, public, religious and business circles of the US Armenian community. To remind, yesterday Armenian and NKR Presidents Robert Kocharian and Arkady Ghukasian took part in the opening ceremony of the Sarushen - Karmir Shuka sector of the North-South highway.
