INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT FOR CONSIDERING GENOCIDE CASES OPENED IN HAGUE
Genocide and other crimes against humanity will not remain unpunished upon the establishment of the International Criminal Court. Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Peter Schieder said today when addressing the opening of the Court in Hague. In his words, as reported by "Arminfo" agency, "for a long period of time one went to prison in case of killing a person and could escape punishment in case of annihilating hundreds of thousand." The PACE head called all countries to avail of the opportunity to call to account those guilty of serious and large-scale crimes.
