The EuroCommission recommended to intensify the EU relations with Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia via implementation of joint plans within the EU Neighborhood policy. The EU supreme executive body came to the decision on the basis of the reports of the European experts on political and economic situation in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia as well as of the analysis of bilateral relations with these states. The EU Neighborhood policy provides for more consolidated economic integration and political cooperation. Presently the recommendation is awaiting the assessment of the EU Council.
