80 Armenians granted DAAD scholarships in 2012

Until October 31, 2012, Armenian students, post-graduate students and researchers may apply for German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship program.

The number of Armenians to have been granted DAAD scholarships in 2012 exceeded 80.

The German Academic Exchange Service or DAAD is the largest German support organization in the field of international academic co-operation.

DAAD is a private, federally funded and state-funded, self-governing national agency of the institutions of higher education in Germany, representing 365 German higher education institutions (100 universities and technical universities, 162 general universities of applied sciences, and 52 colleges of music and art) [2003].

Since RA independence, more than 1800 Armenians have been provided with DAAD financial assistance for conduction of their research works.
