The central electoral commission of Armenia has deprived Apaven Armenian organization of observation mandate for the second round of the presidential elections in Armenia. The decision was made due to that fact that violating the Electoral Code of Armenia the organization representatives openly supported incumbent president Robert Kocharian in a TV broadcast. Let us note that in compliance with the 5-th item of article 29 of the Code, "if after being accredited the observers second any of the candidates, the central electoral commission can deprive the organization of rights to perform an observation mission."
