SOCIAL POLARIZATION OF ARMENIAN POPULATION CAME TO DANGEROUS BOUNDS, DEMIRCHIAN CONSIDERS
Social polarization of the Armenian population has reached dangerous bounds. Candidate for the president of Armenia, People Party leader Stepan Demirchian stated in the course of the TV debate with incumbent Armenian president Robert Kocharian March 3 evening. In his words, in spite of the economic growth in the country, polarization keeps deepening. "In such a situation it is very important to establish an atmosphere of justice and actively struggle against corruption," - S.Demirchian said. He noted that "the clannish system should be destroyed first of all." In his words, that will contribute to activation of the economy and, as a result, creation of new workplaces and improvement of the social conditions of the Armenian population.
