Armenia needs reforms, rather than leadership change, a deputy director of RA NAS Literature Institute said.

As Vardan Devrikyan told a news conference, Armenian opposition is demanding new posts, rather than reforms.

Commenting on bribes distributed during parliamentary elections, the expert said that if someone agrees to sell his voice for 5000 dram, the sum offered must be more valuable than the opposition itself.

As he noted, the older members of the opposition prevent younger activists from joining their ranks.

A sculptor Levon Tokmajyan agreed with Devrikyan, noting that he sees current leader Serzh Sargsyan as the only candidate for President’s post. Tokmajyan voiced protest against change of power, believing President Sargsyan to be the only well-balanced politician in Armenia.
