Semi-presidential system of government hindered formation of political forces in Armenia, expert said.
“Armenia needs a change in social structure,” Yervand Bozoyan told a press conference, commenting on Prosperous Armenia’s and ARF Dashnaktsutyun’s proposal to shift to parliamentary system of government.
Meanwhile, political expert Harutyun Mesrobyan said that opposition forces are in search of own benefits from the shift.
“Neither presidential, nor the parliamentary system will be effective for Armenia,” he said, calling for disbandment of the current leadership.
Mr. Bozoyan, in turn, slammed the election programs in Armenia, stressing the need to develop and present alternative proposals.
