According to Hraparak daily, ahead of Armenia’s presidential elections, the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) doesn’t deem appointment of the deputy heads of Serzh Sargsyan election headquarters an important issue.

“That’s not quite an acute issue to be announced,” RPA deputy president said.

Asked by the paper’s reporter as to the significance attached to upcoming presidential elections Galust Sahakyan said, “there were numerous problems to be addressed during May 6 parliamentary elections. Now things are different. There is only one problem.”

He further deemed appointment of Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to the post of President Sargsyan election headquarters founded given the latter’s vast experience, the paper reported.
