The Samsung Galaxy S4 is being lined up for an April 2013 unveiling, according to a report, Digital Spy said.
SlashGear understands that the flagship Android handset is in the works in the codename of Project J.
The report appears to back up rumours that surfaced last month, tipping the Galaxy S4 to feature a powerful quad-core processor, a 5-inch 1080p display and a 13-megapixel camera.
However, the latest speculation contradicts reports that the device will be showcased at the CES trade show next month.
Samsung is also rumoured to be developing a cheaper model of its Galaxy Note 2 device and a 13.3-inch hybrid tablet with a detachable keyboard to take on Asus' Transformer line.
The Korean firm has been tipped to hold a dedicated media event to unveil its next flagship phone, a strategy it used to introduce the Galaxy S3.
