Armenian presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan has been taken to Yerevan’s St Grigor Lusavorich medical center with a gunshot wound, the center’s receptionist said.

As he told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the candidate is currently undergoing medical examination.

Candidate Hayrikyan earlier received a gunshot wound in Yerevan’s Kentron administrative district. A criminal case has been instigated.
