Armenia has reported significant progress on its path to becoming a democratic republic, member of International expert Center for Electoral Systems (ICES) observer mission said.
Anna Churdova highly assessed the preparedness of the election commissions, hailing the opportunities created for visually impaired people. She further expressed hope that electronic format will operate for Armenia during the next elections.
Another ICES member Lidia Lawson, in turn, briefed on the violations reported during Feb 18 polls, with the lack of proper lighting, ink-related problems and the absence of candidates’ authorized representatives among them.
Dwelling on the counting of votes, Ms Lawson said no violations, conflicts or incidents were reported.
