Despite the current passive role in the political landscape, Prosperous Armenia possesses serious resources, sociologist said.

Aharon Adibekyan noted it irrelevant to dub Prosperous Armenia a “political corpse.”

“Only Prosperous Armenia may become a serious rival to the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA),” the sociologist said.

He slammed rumors suggesting ex-president Robert Kocharian’s son Sedrak Kocharian may top Prosperous Armenia’s list during Yerevan City Council elections a political myth.

Mr Adibekyan further highly assessed RPA’s chances for Yerevan City Council polls.
