MP says dialogue the sole tool in policy-making

The leader of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group Galust Sahakyan described dialogue as the sole tool in policy-making.

“Political forces currently fail to hold discussions on domestic policy as they seek to strengthen their positions ahead of Yerevan city council elections,” RPA member said.

Dwelling on Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian’s offer to pass over several government circles to the opposition, Sahakyan noted it as ridiculous.

“Heritage possesses no resources. We stand for cooperation. We do the utmost for Raffi Hovannisian to start a dialogue. Otherwise, solutions to the existing problems are already apparent,” he said, adding that a political dialogue will help Hovannisian strengthen his positions in the opposition field.
