20th Century First Holocaust exhibition has opened in many towns in Europe and Poland, however Wroclaw was the first one to cause a harsh response of the Turkish diplomats, stated Armenian Apostolic Church pastor in Krakow Tadeush Isahakian-Zaleski, reported the Gazeta Wyborcza. He is indignant at the Wroclaw authorities decision on closing the exhibition in the center of the town. The exhibition exposes the historical truth and should not be closed,» he remarked. He said he received tens of phone calls from Armenians and the decision characterizes the Polish society as intolerant. It should be reminded that under the pressure of the Turkish Embassy in Poland the 20th Century First Holocaust exhibition was moved from the center of Wroclaw to the Avant-Garde Art Museum. Tadeush Isahakian-Zalezski is convinced the only reason for closing the exhibition in the center of the town is Turkish Embassy intervention. Confessing that after the opening of the exhibition they received many phone calls from Turkey, the town administration nevertheless keeps the only cause for closing the exposition was the shocking nature of the photos, reported PanARMENIAN.Net reporter in Poland. Being asked to comment on the exhibition closing by the PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, an organizer of the exhibition Jonna Orska remarked, she could add nothing to the information published in the Polish newspaper.
