On April 25, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II met with the members of European Parliament-Armenian friendship group, with Chairman of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan and RA ambassador to Belgium Avet Adonts present.

Catholicos Karekin II highly assessed the friendship group’s efforts aimed at the protection of the Armenian people’s rights and the steps fostering the country’s EU integration.

He further expressed gratitude to the organizations, countries and individuals for contribution to the recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide. Upon completion of the meeting, Karekin II wished success to the friendship group members, adding that the mission goes beyond its primary borders, fostering the establishment of peace and justice in the world.
