Head coach of FC Shakhtar Donetsk Mircea Lucescu commented on the reports suggesting Liverpool FC is ready to sign on Henrikh Mkhitaryan for euro 40 mln.

“These are mere rumors. Different amounts of money are said to be offered for Henrikh, however, nobody will name a higher amount than that mentioned in his contract. Thus, reports about Liverpool FC’s offer should be taken no notice of,” hotsport.ua quoted Lucescu as saying.

The coach further noted Mkhitaryan as a brilliant footballer.
