Belarus interested in Armenia’s experience in NPP operation

Belarus in interested in Armenia’s experience in operation and safety of nuclear power plants ahead of construction of the first NPP in the country’s history, President Alexander Lukashenko said.

As Lukashenko noted at a joint news conference with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan, “we hope for Armenian experts to share knowledge with their Belarusian colleagues at the initial stages of the NPP operation.”

On Monday, May 13, the countries’ governments signed a number of agreements covering exchange of information in the sectors of nuclear safety and radiation protection.
