OSCE Minsk Group fails to arrange Sargsyan-Alieyv meeting on Karabakh

OSCE Minsk Group yet again failed to agree on another meeting for Karabakh conflict settlement between Armenian and Azeri Presidnets Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev.

Now, a possibility of a meeting can be discussed no sooner than late summer, a diplomatic source said in Vienna. As he noted, negotiations planned for June 12 in Salzburg won’t be taking place, ITAR-TASS reported.

In May, OSCE MG co-chairs traveled to the region to organize a presidential meeting. However, according to a statement made after the visit, meetings with foreign ministers only will be on co-chairs’ agenda in the near future.
