One cannot expect repeal of section 907 of the Freedom Support Act due to the difference on the issue between the US administration and Congress. As reported by "Zerkalo" Baku newspaper, US ambassador to Azerbaijan Ross Wilson said. He also reported that last weekend the US administration had extended the term of waiver of Section 907, which prevented US from rendering any assistance to Azerbaijan due to its blockade of Armenia. Let us remind that US Congress passed Section 907 of the Freedom Support Act in 1992 and it was waived in 2001.
