CIS Security Doesn't Depend on Georgia
Russian Vice Premier, Defense Minister Sergey Ivanov is sure that Georgia's decision to quit the CIS Council of Defense Ministers will by no means influence on the CIS security. "This decision will not change anything and the CIS security will not suffer. As a matter of fact during recent 4 or 5 years Georgia did not take part either in the Council activities or in military events held within the CIS," Sergey Ivanov stated. To remind, February 4 official Tbilisi said Georgia breaks off activities within the CIS Council of Defense Ministers.
