"World War Z" new clip features Brad Pitt

"World War Z" builds anticipation before its wide release with a new clip, featuring Brad Pitt in his portrayal of Gerry Lane. Trapped in a difficult situation where zombies invade the town and go for human hunting, Lane attempts to make a daring rooftop escape to save his family from the scary-looking creatures by getting them all to the chopper, AceShowbiz said.

In "World War Z", Gerry Lane is a United Nation employee who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. The story itself is based on Max Brook's horror novel "World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War".

The Marc Foster-directed flick is also supported by Mireille Enos, who takes on the role as Pitt's on-screen wife, Karin Lane. David Morse, Matthew Fox, James Badge Dale, Eric West, Sterling Jerins, Julia Levy-Boeken and Elyes Gabel are also included in the cast for supporting roles.

Recently, Pitt flew to South Korea, the only Asian country that he visited to promote the apocalypse movie. Tiffany from Girls' Generation even had a chance to sit down with him for an interview for a local TV program.

"World War Z" will open nationwide this weekend, on Friday, June 21.
