Armenians abducted at Syrian-Turkish border

Armenians were kidnapped at the Syrian-Turkish border on Friday, July 26, and their fate is unclear so far.

As spokesman for the Syrian-Armenian community Jirayr Reisian told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, four Armenian men and the driver were abducted.

According to him, the militants stopped a minibus en route from Aleppo to Yerevan. They let three women go but took the men, whose names are already known: Karo Papoghlian, Garegin Atsagortsian, Narek Varzhapetian and Sako Asadurian.
