Fresh off his producing gig in Oscar-winning "12 Years a Slave", Brad Pitt is now looking to adapt another true-story drama for his next project. His company, Plan B, has acquired movie rights to a Rolling Stone article "Anonymous vs. Steubenville" written by David Kushner, AceShowbiz said.

Published in November 2013, it tells the story of Deric Lostutter, a member of hacktivist group Anonymous, who helped catch rapists and was subsequently jailed for his actions. He exposed the cover-up of a rape of an underage girl by two high school football players in Steubenville, Ohio.

Lostutter could spend more than a decade in prison. Meanwhile, the rapists who were members of widely celebrated football team known as Big Red were sentenced to only one year in jail. Other people involved in the case are still in trials. One of them is Matthew Belardine, a former Steubenville High School volunteer football coach, who is expected to enter guilty plea on April 22.
