Armenian and Azeri Films on Nagorno Karabakh Screened in London
May 17 an Armenian and an Azeri film on Nagorno Karabakh were screened at the School of Oriental and African Studies of London University, reports the Press Service of the Armenian MFA. Institute of War and Peace Reporting officer, author of Black Garden: Armenia and Azerbaijan through War and Peace book Thomas de Waal, BBC reporters Mark Grigoryan and Famil Ismaylov, Amnesty International representative Laurence Broers and head of the Caucasian Project of Conciliation Resources Jonathan Cohen. The screening was followed by questions and comments of Armenian and Azeri students and local Armenian community members. The conduct of the Azeri students displayed intolerance and hatred against Armenians, which caused criticism of participants, especially Thomas de Waal.
