NATO Satisfied with Progress Achieved by Armenian Government
The North Atlantic Council gave a positive estimate to Armenia's Interim Report on the Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) implementation, NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the South Caucasus Robert Simmons told the Public Television of Armenia. This is a long process and we are satisfied to see the progress achieved by the Armenian government," he said. At that Simmons refrained from comparative assessment of the South Caucasian states remarking that the countries are at different stages at the moment.
For his part Secretary of the Security Council at the RA President, Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan noted that the given assessment proves Armenia is on the right way. "We are glad to know that the North Atlantic Council assessed highly the work carried out by us," the Minister said, reported Novosti-Armenia.
