Samsung's Galaxy S6 will reportedly feature a streamlined user interface in the style of the Google Nexus 6, Digital Spy reports.
A company spokesperson has apparently told Business Korea that unnecessary features are being purged from TouchWiz to offer a stock Android-like experience.
The benefits of the move include a less cluttered user interface and more free storage space, with so-called 'bloatware' at a minimum.
Previous reports suggest that the Galaxy S6 will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display, a 64-bit octa-core Exynos chip, 3GB of RAM and a 20-megapixel camera.
The handset is also rumoured to come in two variants, one with an all-metal design and the other with a curved display like the Galaxy Note Edge.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S6 around the time of the Mobile World Congress in early March.
