IRAN READY FOR WINTER ENERGY SUPPLIES TO ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN
To fill the energy deficit in Armenia and Azerbaijan in winter Iran intends to supply 360 MW electric power to these countries. As reported by "IRNA" agency, assistant coordinator of production and export of electric energy of Iran Abdulhusein Fazlolahi stated it. In his words, the supplies are brought up in a regime of mutual flows: in summer Iran got the same quantity of electric power from Armenia and Azerbaijan. In the future the volume of mutual supplies may increase significantly owing to the new high-voltage electricity transmission lines being built. Let us note that at present the project of building of a new "Frontier of Armenia-Yerevan" electric main is being carried out, which will let increase the amount of mutual supplies with Iran almost two times.
